  There are maximum airlines that allow infants under 2 years of age to be carried on the lap and hence do not ask for any flight tickets. Those children who are between 2-11 years of age need to buy a ticket that will be 75% of the fare charges of the adult fare. While the child above 12 years of age is considered to be an adult and will be required to pay full fare charge. However, if a parent wants to buy a ticket for his child then he can pay the amount for the seat while traveling. Those passengers who face any issues or want information are free to contact the respective customer support of the airline.
